Too tired to hit the parks? Check out these fabulous day trips around Orlando!

Famous for it's theme park complexes, Orlando hosts a large number of tourists each year, especially during the July and December vacations. However, few know that within an hour or two short car journey,  it is possible to visit amazing sites and cities that can perfectly complement a trip to Disney World and Universal Studios. If you are taking a break from the Disney Parks or looking for a day trip in between relaxing in your vacation home or Disney Villa, InvestUSA360 has prepared some suggestions for tours around Central Florida that will surely please the whole family! Check out some suggestions below:

With a similar atmosphere like Orlando, Tampa is the second largest city in the state of Florida and is just over an hour away. It also has a well-known park, Busch Gardens, famous for its many radical roller coasters. But Tampa goes much further: a modern financial center, Ybor City's charming Cuban neighborhood, home to Columbia Restaurant, Florida's oldest restaurant in operation, and The Florida Aquarium, one of the country's finest aquariums, complete the set of city attractions.

A township just north of Orlando, Winter Park is almost a neighborhood. It is a place full of sophisticated shops of independent designers and with an European flair and architecture, with low constructions, perfect for a relaxed lunch and a walk during the afternoon.

Celebration, an Orlando neighborhood, is also a great option. Built with the help of Walt Disney, the neighborhood has wide streets and a curious architecture, always with Victorian or colonial style buildings. A lot of celebrities have houses there. It is a very quiet and peaceful region.

How about going into space at the Kennedy Space Center? The famous NASA space center is a great attraction, even for those who are not very attached to the space theme. Although it is a kind of theme park, it is much quieter than Orlando parks. And its rich history makes it a kind of space museum.

Considered the oldest US city, St. Augustine, was founded in 1565 and is about two hours from Orlando. The region is very different from the rest of the country because it has several historical constructions in the style of the Spanish colonization, and is the ideal place to check out different architecture styles and other cultural aspects of American history. Don't pass up the opportunity to drink from the famous historical Fountain of Youth while you are there, after all you never know!

We cannot forget to mention Clearwater! Considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the United States, it has calm, crystalline sea, and white sand. It even seems like we are in the Caribbean! The beach is gorgeous and close to other interesting trails such as natural parks and even an aquarium. An ideal outing to do on a sunny summer day, relaxing under the Florida sun.

Close to Clearwater Beach, Saint Petersburg is another excellent complement to the beautiful beaches of the region. The city is home to the world renowned Salvador Dali Museum,  A nice pier, good restaurants, and a  "cool" vibe, remember the sunscreen!

How about getting out of the traditional Orlando circuit on your next trip to the city? If you are planning to live in this region you will love to know there is life beyond the confines of Disney and International Drive. Whether it's shopping at less crowded outlets, eating at fine restaurants, relaxing on a paradise beach, visiting a museum or just venturing down the road, it's worth planning a trip outside the city limits.
